Keith Kaan is the founder of Greater Texas Solar, bringing a lifelong passion for innovation and sustainability to the heart of Texas.

Raised on a ranch in Wyoming, he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Wyoming and spent much of his career in the oilfield service industry, contributing groundbreaking solutions for companies like Schlumberger.

After "retiring" to Mason, Texas in 1998, Keith began restoring historic homes and volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. His drive to make homes more efficient led him to solar energy, and in 2016 he launched Greater Texas Solar. Today, Keith is a driving force behind Greater Texas Solar’s growth with a focus on integrity, energy independence, and building a cleaner future for Texas.

Andi moved to Mason in 2019, bringing 25+ years of professional experience to help grow Greater Texas Solar. With a bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV/Film from the University of North Texas, she combines a passion for sustainability with a drive for meaningful impact. Andi manages the company’s bookkeeping, permitting, and utility interconnections, ensuring that every project runs smoothly from paperwork to power-up.

An avid cyclist who often starts her days chasing the sunrise, Andi brings the same focus, endurance, and forward momentum to her work in solar energy. Her adventurous spirit — shaped by travels to places like Kenya, New Zealand and Cozumel — informs her global outlook and her commitment to building a brighter, cleaner future for Texas and beyond.
